The acquisition complements CA's broad portfolio of IT management solutions, specifically meeting the needs of emerging enterprises and managed services providers (MSPs), which are increasingly embracing virtualized and cloud-based models for the delivery of business services to employees, customers, and partners.

With the addition of Nimsoft into the CA portfolio, CA is welcoming a new type of customer.
