Eric Fischer Joins dynaTrace as VP, Field Operations for North America
BOSTON - (BUSINESS WIRE) - dynaTrace software, the leader in continuous application performance management across the application lifecycle for business critical Java and .NET applications, today announced that Eric Fischer has joined the company as Vice President of Field Operations for North America. In this role, Fischer will be responsible for building and managing long-term customer and partner relationships in the North American markets.
"I am very pleased to have Eric leading our North American field operations," said John Van Siclen, CEO of dynaTrace. "We've just come off our best quarter in company history with over 100 customers now using dynaTrace's industry-leading products to deliver better performing applications at dramatically reduced costs. The opportunity to revolutionize application performance has never been better, and Eric's experience in helping emerging companies with disruptive technology scale into category-leaders makes him an ideal choice to lead dynaTrace's North American field operations."
Fischer has more than 20 years of sales experience and a track record of driving early stage companies to high growth. Prior to dynaTrace, Fischer was VP of Worldwide Sales for Akorri Networks, OATSystems, Inc. and eRoom Technology where he grew the business from $0 to $60+ million leading to the largest private software transaction in 2002. Fischer has also held sales and business development roles at Powersoft Corporation (acquired by Sybase) and Cortex Corporation.
"dynaTrace is an extraordinary opportunity. In the face of economic challenge it is not only growing, but thriving," said Fischer. "It has disruptive technology and a scalable business model in a large market that is starved for innovation. dynaTrace is uniquely well-positioned to become a category-killer, and I am excited to join a company with such tremendous potential."
