Borland to Showcase Agile Testing at STAREAST 2009
ORLANDO, Fla., May 04, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Borland Software Corporation (www.borland.com), the global leader in Open Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), today announced that several of its application quality experts have been tapped to share their insights and experiences on the direction of the QA industry at the STAREAST 2009 conference, taking place in Orlando, Fla., May 4-8, 2009. In addition to leading four conference sessions, Borland will present "The Future of Testing: How Testing and Technology will Change," as part of the new STAREAST Test & Quality Leadership Summit.
As an increasing number of enterprises consider the transition to Agile, they face a new set of challenges, including integration of QA teams and processes into new Agile software delivery models. Over the past two years, Borland's distributed development organization has undergone its own transition to Agile. Through this experience, its teams have seen the critical role that automated testing plays in enabling a successful transformation. During this year's STAREAST 2009 and STAR Test & Quality Leadership Summit, Borland's own QA professionals will demonstrate how Borland(R) SilkCentral(R) Test Manager(TM), Borland SilkTest(R) and Borland SilkPerformer(R) support and enable both Agile and traditional testing approaches at booth 9/10/11.
