As we approach the end of 2009, I am delighted to share with you some of the major highlights of what has been a truly fulfilling and extremely successful year for Aternity:

Extended Financing Round Fuels Product Innovation and Business GrowthImageAternity closed an extended Round B of funding in early 2009. All existing investors participated, with the round being led by Clal Industries and Investments, LTD and supported by Intel Capital, Genesis Partners, and Vertex Venture Capital. The funding helped the company deliver increased product innovation for its Frontline Performance Intelligence (FPI) Platform while supporting the expansion of its sales and marketing organizations.

More than Triple Growth in Sales & New Customer AcquisitionsImageAternity's FPI Platform continues to be rapidly embraced by major financial services institutions throughout insurance, banking, and capital markets. In 2009, Global leaders in telecommunications, sports entertainment, manufacturing, oil and gas, law enforcement, healthcare, and the IT services industries, also selected Aternity's FPI Platform to dramatically reduce business disruptions and increase end user productivity. 

Aternity also expanded its partner footprint in 2009 with certified partners is Argentina, Australia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, the US, and the UK. Most recently, newfound partnerships were announced with Dell, IBM, Microsoft, and Unisys.

Expanded Packaged Support for Popular Business ApplicationsImageAternity's FPI Platform provides the unique ability for partners and customers to comprehensively instrument any application within days. In 2009, Aternity began rapidly expanding its packaged support for popular applications out-of-the-box. New FPI Solution Packs have been released for almost 40 applications, including those for leading CRM and ERP applications such as SAP, Siebel, Oracle E-Business Suite, major healthcare applications such as Epic, GE, Allscripts and Eclipsys, popular Oil & Gas applications such as Landmark's OpenWells, leading Telecommunications solutions like Amdocs CRM, and primary productivity applications such as MS-Office, Adobe and Notes.

Expansion into New Markets Including HealthcareImageAternity placed special emphasis on healthcare for 2009, and developed newfound partnerships with HIMSS and Hayes Management Consulting, leading Healthcare ISVs, major healthcare Service Providers, and numerous healthcare IDNs. These partnerships will continue to help further deliver the benefits of Aternity's FPI Platform to healthcare organizations around the globe. With Aternity, healthcare organizations are gaining the frontline performance intelligence they need to understand application performance and usage at the clinical workflow level, for both real and virtual (Citrix, Terminal Servers and VDI) desktops. In addition, they benefit from a comprehensive understanding of the overall quality of service and SLAs across all their applications and locations, as well as the usage, usability and adoption rates of their key clinical applications.

Visionary Approach to User-Centric End User Experience Management with Gartner, EMA and DABCCImageAternity collaborated with a number of third parties in order to further evangelize the power of a user-centric approach to proactive IT management. The development and launch of the industry's first 8-minute webcast featuring Gartner was one of the results of this initiative. 

In addition, Aternity worked with Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) to deliver a joint webinar and whitepaper, "Got Business Disruptions?," focused on how a user-centric approach to Application Performance Management can optimize business, improve IT processes, and increase user productivity. Finally, Aternity teamed up with DABCC, a leading provider of information, training, and solutions to the virtualization and server based computing community, to deliver a webinar on how organization can leverage Aternity's FPI Platform to evaluate, plan, and manage their desktop virtualization initiatives.

Third-party Awards for Technology Innovation and Business ExcellenceImageAternity continued to build off of the awards it received in 2008, which included recognition as a Gartner Cool Vendor and accolades from the American Business Awards, The Marker magazine, Globes, and Ernst & Young. For the second year in a row, Aternity earned a slot as finalist within 2009's International Business Awards for "Best Management Team." Additionally, Aternity was selected by InformationWeek as a Top 50 Startup.

We are very encouraged that our Frontline Performance Intelligence Platform continues to be rapidly embraced to drive mission-critical initiatives at industry-leading organizations world-wide.
