Last week we were introduced to Aptimize a New Zealand based company who specialize in web acceleration. We met up with their CEO Ed Robinson who was on a visit to London to meet with some of their new UK customers.

Their claim is that they can double the speed of your website with no code changes and no additional hardware. Their solution is software-only and aimed at small to medium sized businesses.

The product sits on the IIS or Apache web server as a software module which optimizes content in several ways. More on this to come once we have fully tested their solution and confirmed these claims.
